Case Study: Pura Group — 10 Colours, One Order, Delivered to Jakarta
Case Study · Pura Group · Delivered to Jakarta, Indonesia
One Brand,
Eleven Colours
How Pura Group ordered Leuchtturm1917 A5 notebooks in 11 different colours with a single matt silver hot stamp — and why no minimum order quantity per colour changes everything for multi-team corporate gifting.
Most corporate notebook suppliers work with a minimum order quantity per colour. If you want Navy, you order a minimum of 50 in Navy. If you want Cherry, another 50 in Cherry. Leuchtturm1917 doesn’t work that way — and when Pura Group learned this, they used it fully.
The Brief
Eleven departments. Eleven colours. One brand identity on every cover.
Pura Group — an Indonesian conglomerate with the tagline Creating Value Through Innovation — wanted branded notebooks for their team. The customisation was clear: the Pura Group logo with the full tagline, in matt silver hot stamping, positioned consistently across all covers.
What made this order distinctive was the colour selection. Rather than choosing a single corporate colour and ordering in bulk, Pura Group chose to express the breadth and diversity of their organisation through the colour range — one colour per team or division, all carrying the same brand identity on the cover.
The Range
The same silver stamp, reading differently across eleven colours
Matt silver performs differently against each cover — bright contrast on dark covers like Black and Navy, a subtler tonal effect on lighter covers like Powder and Rising Sun. The artwork was identical on every notebook. The visual effect was not.

Indigo — the same matt silver stamp reads as a bold, saturated contrast against a rich royal blue ground.
The Key Insight
No minimum per colour — what this means in practice
The colour range is a genuine choice, not a theoretical one limited by MOQ constraints. A company with eleven departments can give eleven different colours. A company that wants to match notebook colour to team identity can do so without a large commitment per colour. The total order quantity still applies — but within that, the colour allocation is entirely flexible.
For Pura Group: approximately 15 notebooks per colour, approximately 165 total, all with the same matt silver logo treatment, delivered to Jakarta. One brief, one production run, one consistent brand identity — expressed differently across eleven covers.
